why are people so selfish & greedy??



Interesting question. First of all, it is only fair to remember that by no means everybody is greedy. In fact, if you really look around everyone you know, I bet you will find that most of them are at least as much concerned with their families, friends, children etc, as they are with trying to gain material possessions. We are often told that humans are hopelessly selfish and grasping, always trying to grab things for themselves just like our ape ancestors; but is it really true?
